Host a Student

Open Your Heart and Home to a Foreign Exchange Student

I am an Area Representative for the Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding, academic development and world peace.

I’m looking for families in Northeast Ohio to host exchange students for the upcoming school year. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about new cultures and share our own. Students represent 40 countries in South America, Europe and Asia. Hosting can be a fun and enriching experience for families and students.

The students arrive in their host country shortly before school begins and return at the end of the school year. Each CCI student is fully insured for accident, health and liability, brings his or her own spending money and expects to assume a share of household responsibilities. Both international and American students who are selected for CCI’s programs are flexible, open-minded, mature, academically-motivated and willing to adapt to another family’s life-style. Semester and academic year students come with sufficient language proficiency to maintain a minimum C average in the local high school.
